Site. The site is located on a plot adjacent to a municipality in Beirut. It will link between the ‘in-construction’ municipality, the old urban fabric, and the church’s piazza.
Program. The project is to design an extension to the municipality in Beirut. The program should mainly include green landscaped areas, multi-purpose outdoor sports terrain, children targeted indoor and outdoor areas, and an indoor swimming pool with all its facilities.
Intention. The communal center is designed not like a building but rather like an open landscape space, nonexistent in this area. The main purpose is to create a green path, which will encourage the people to jog, ride bicycle in the region.
